FAQ
Plain answers, including the ones that are not flattering. If a question is missing, ask it in the pod and it gets added.
What is ORCA APEX?
ORCA APEX is a meme coin on the Solana blockchain with the ticker OA. This market is full of dogs and cats, and this one is named for the animal that eats them. It is built around a single idea, that a pod coordinates better than an individual does. It is not a company, it does not generate revenue, and it does not give holders any claim on anything.
What does holding OA get me?
Nothing, in the legal or financial sense. No dividend, no share, no yield, no vote that binds anybody, no product access. It is a token whose value is whatever the next person will pay for it, which is true of every meme coin including the largest ones. Anybody telling you otherwise about this token is either confused or lying.
Is this a rug pull?
The honest answer is that you should not take our word for it either way, which is why every checkable claim on this site links to a block explorer. What you can verify: mint authority revoked so no new supply can be created, freeze authority revoked so no wallet can be blocked from selling, and LP tokens burned at graduation so the pool cannot be withdrawn. What you cannot verify away: the price can still go to zero, and 59,940,900 OA, 5.99% of supply, is still liquid in the dev wallet and could be sold into you. A further 129,197,993 is locked on Streamflow, which means it cannot move until that contract releases it, not that it has gone away. Both are disclosed on every page that touches supply and both are readable on chain.
What is the total supply?
One billion OA, fixed at creation, and it splits three ways. 810,861,107 is in public hands, which is 81.09%. 129,197,993, which is 12.92%, is locked in a Streamflow contract. The remaining 59,940,900, which is 5.99%, sits liquid in the dev wallet for liquidity and marketing. There was no presale and no private round: all of it went through the same bonding curve at the same price as yours. Every token goes through the same bonding curve. The tokenomics page walks through what that means and how to confirm the numbers on Solscan yourself.
Where do the live numbers on this site come from?
Your own browser fetches them directly from public APIs. Price, market cap, liquidity, volume and trade counts come from DEX Screener, with Jupiter as a fallback for price. Nothing is proxied through a server we control, nothing about your visit is logged by us in the process, and the figures carry a timestamp so you can see how fresh they are. If an API is unreachable the tiles say so instead of showing a stale number as if it were current.
Why does the holder count sometimes say not available?
Counting holders means reading every token account for the mint, which is thousands of records for any token with traction. No public endpoint does that for free from a browser, so the site reads it from a configured endpoint or a keyed RPC if one is set. If neither is set it says so, because a made up holder count is exactly the kind of number that should make you suspicious of any project that shows one.
What exactly is locked, and until when?
129,197,993.051135 OA, which is 12.92% of total supply, is held in a Streamflow contract for one year. Streamflow is a third party escrow: once tokens are in it they cannot be moved until the contract releases them, and nobody involved here can override that. The exact schedule is written into the contract, so open it and read the dates rather than taking them from us. A lock is not a burn. Those tokens still exist and in a year they become movable again, which is exactly why the amount, the term and the contract are all published here.
Is there a tax on buying or selling?
No. No buy tax, no sell tax, no reflections and no transfer hook. You pay the Solana network fee, which is a fraction of a cent, and whatever the DEX charges everyone.
What is the pod?
The holders, and the channels where they talk. There is no membership, no tier and no gate. The pod page shows how many wallets currently hold OA and lists every channel that is actually ours. Anything not on that list is not us.
When is the launch?
The token launches on pump.fun. Until it does, every live tile on this site reads TBA and the contract address block says it will be published at launch. The moment the mint address is added to the site's config file, every page fills itself in: the tiles go live, the copy button works and every explorer link points at the real token.
Can I lose money on this?
Yes, all of it, and that is a realistic outcome rather than a disclaimer. Meme coins are volatile and often illiquid, which means the price you see is not always the price you can actually sell at. Buy an amount that being completely wrong about would not change your month, and never borrow to do it.
Who is behind ORCA APEX?
The same people behind Orca Crypto, a plain English site that teaches beginners how Solana wallets, swaps and rug pulls work. That is also why this site is written the way it is: it has to survive being read by the exact audience that was taught to spot the tricks.
Still live, still checkable
How to buy
Four steps and about ten minutes. Verify the address before you swap, and never from a link a stranger sent you.
